Your Role

First Federation Trust a Multi Academy Trust of 29 primary schools across Devon, Plymouth and West Dorset are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor for Whitchurch Primary School. This is a permanent position for 11.5 hrs per week, 39 weeks a year.


The role complements the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This will mean being actively involved in some of the planning cycle and delivering lessons to whole classes.  The post holder will be expected to feedback information regarding the pupils’ achievement, progress and development to the class teacher. This would be a fantastic opportunity for those working in a school already and wanting to develop their skills further, or for those wanting to return to teaching.


The successful candidate will work under an agreed system of supervision/management to deliver learning by:

•          Delivering lessons to whole classes.

•          Undertaking evaluation and record keeping with the class teacher

•          Undertaking cover supervision

Qualifications

GCSEs including Maths and English (Grade A-C/4-9) or equivalentdesirable
