Your Role

Whitchurch Primary School are looking for a Mealtime Assistant to cover lunchtimes for 1hr a day Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will primarily support a child with SEND during mealtimes, whilst also contributing to the positive lunchtime experience and supervision of other pupils across the school.


We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate who:


  1. Will be responsible for a safe and calm dining experience.
  2. Will be able to build a rapport with children.
  3. Will be able to support children during their lunchtime provision both in the dining room and on the playground.
  4. Will be able to liaise both written and verbally with other school staff.
  5. Will be physically able to lift and move tables and chairs as part of the setup and clear-down for lunchtime.
