Your Role

Musbury Primary Academy are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated individual to work alongside the class teacher across all areas of the curriculum.


  1. To deliver targeted interventions.
  2. To promote inclusion through the development of social skills, language and emotional well-being.
  3. To work under the direction of the class teacher and liaise with other professionals both within and outside the school
  4. You will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and be able to react to given situations with integrity and compassion
  5. There will be some aspects of working with SEND pupils 1:1 or small group work.
  6. To cover the teacher in class during their PPA time
  7. To cover lunch duty daily


We are looking for the right person that can work 32.5 hours per week in a split role comprising of 22 hours per week as a Teaching Assistant, 5 hours per week as a Mealtime Assistant and 5.5 hours per week as a Cover Supervisor.

This position is fixed term to 31 August 2027

Qualifications

Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, including English and Maths and Grade 4 (previously Grade C) or aboveessential
