Your Role

Culverstone Green Primary School and Meopham Community Academy are looking for a hardworking, flexible colleague to join their Site Team.

 

The post will be for 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday working 20 hours at Culverstone Green Primary School and 5 hours per week at Meopham Community Academy. There is a need for the successful candidate to be flexible, working times are negotiable but may be changed as required according to schools needs. Under these circumstances, where hours need to be changed the school will give as much notice as possible. You will be paid £26,822 full time equivalent, actual pro rata salary of £18,122.97 based on 25 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.  

 

The purpose of this role is to support the Site Manager and Leadership Team by carrying out a range of caretaking duties including security and supervision of the site and related equipment, and other caretaking duties including porterage, cleaning and maintenance. 


Although previous experience would be preferable it is not considered essential, full training and induction will be given.

Qualifications

5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalentdesirable
NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in relevant disciplinedesirable

Skills

CPD / Training

Knowledge of a range of computer applications – including Word / Excel / Powerpoint / Outlook 
Demonstrate a basic understanding of the work of a school 
Demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality and child protection issues in a school setting

Experience

Ability to provide a high level of customer service 
Ability to deal calmly, tactfully and effectively a range of people 
Ability to convey information clearly and accurately orally and in writing to a range of people 
Ability to work in an organised and methodical manner 
Ability to take personal responsibility for organising day to day workload 
Ability to work effectively and supportively as a member of the school team 
Able to use own initiative to solve problems and respond proactively to unexpected situations
