Teaching Assistant – Level 1


Do you have a supportive and caring disposition and wish to support our young people to flourish?

Come and join our caring, pupil focused school. We are a small, dedicated team who seek to provide a strong education for our children while supporting each individual child’s needs.

We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a teaching assistant, initially supporting our Year five / six class. This position will involve supporting students in the classroom with a view to enabling them to effectively access the curriculum. Applicants should have good communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with students and adults.

 

This is a varied and exciting position, allowing you to work with groups of children and individuals, with the support of class teachers and SENDCo within the class setting.

 

Grade:            SCP 5, £24,790 per annum pro rata (£13.26/hr)

Hours:            10 hours per week, term time only

(Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 9:30 – 12:00)

Contract:        Fixed term to 31st August 2026 in the first instance

Required to start as soon as possible
