We are now seeking a skilled, committed and reflective Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning, helping our pupils to grow in confidence, curiosity and independence.
The Role
As an HLTA, you will:
- Deliver learning to whole classes, small groups and individuals, including PPA cover
- Support teachers with planning, assessment and adapting learning to meet pupil needs
- Lead targeted interventions and pastoral support, including 1:1 work
- Work closely with the SENDCo, contributing to EHCPs, provision maps and referrals
- Promote inclusion, independence and positive behaviour for all pupils
- Monitor and record pupil progress, supporting high-quality outcomes
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, enrichment and daily routines
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds HLTA status (or equivalent) and has strong primary experience
- Has experience of leading whole-class learning and delivering interventions
- Is passionate about supporting all pupils, including those with
- Has excellent communication, organisation and ICT skills
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and
- Is proactive, enthusiastic and committed to professional development
