At Grange Primary School, we know that great Teaching Assistants make a lasting difference. Through encouragement, patience, kindness and high expectations, they help children develop confidence, resilience and a love of learning.
We are seeking to appoint a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our warm and inclusive school community. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team that is passionate about nurturing children's academic progress, emotional wellbeing and personal development.
At Grange, relationships come first. We are proud of our nurturing approach and our commitment to ensuring every child feels safe, valued and able to thrive. Whether supporting learning in the classroom, delivering interventions or helping a child navigate a challenging day, our Teaching Assistants play a vital role in children's success.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about supporting children and helping them succeed.
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Has high expectations for all children.
- Demonstrates patience, empathy and a nurturing approach.
- Can support pupils with a range of learning, social and emotional needs.
- Works effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Is committed to inclusion, safeguarding and continuous professional development.
- Shares our belief that every child can achieve and thrive.
We are particularly interested in applicants who have experience of, or an interest in, Nurture Principles, Emotion Coaching, attachment-aware approaches and supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs. However, training and professional development will be provided for the right candidate.
In return, we offer:
- Wonderful children who are eager to learn and proud of their school.
- A genuinely supportive and welcoming staff team.
- A strong commitment to staff wellbeing and work-life balance.
- High-quality professional development opportunities.
- Access to training in SEND, Nurture, Emotion Coaching and inclusive practice.
- Leaders who invest in their staff and encourage professional growth.
- The opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children's lives every day.
