Your Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, proactive and passionate HR & Payroll Officer to join our Trust Central Team and play a pivotal role in keeping our people processes running smoothly.

 About the Role

  • Prepare legally compliant HR documents including contracts, amendments and formal correspondence.
  • Support recruitment processes in line with Safer Recruitment
  • Develop and maintain recruitment materials, included branded candidate packs
  • Handle HR/Recruitment/Payroll inboxes and provide ER admin support.
  • Provide administrative support for employee relations cases.
  • Manage HR, Recruitment and Payroll inboxes, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Produce and analyse HR/payroll data, KPIs and reports.
  • Submit accurate HR data for payroll, including starters, leavers, contract changes and absences.
  • Liaise with the payroll provider and support statutory submissions.
  • Respond to payroll queries.
  • Manage auto‑enrolment cycles and support pension administration.

 What We’re Looking For

  • A-Level or equivalent qualification
  • CIPD Level 3 (or willingness to work towards)
  • Payroll-related training or certification (or willingness to work towards)
  • HR experience including contracts, recruitment and compliance
  • Experience preparing payroll data and liaising with external providers
  • Strong communication and IT skills (Ms365)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
