Woodeaton Manor School seeking a highly organised, professional and welcoming Administrative Assistant to support the administrative and organisational processes within the school. As the first point of contact for parents, visitors and other stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in representing the school and embody the value, vision and ethos of the school in all interactions.

About the Role
- Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors and other stakeholders.
- Assist staff and pupils with information and support they need.
- Manage enquiries, inboxes, calendars and computerised record/MIS.
- Control access to the school in line with the schools safeguarding procedures.
- Write and send professional communications, including emails, letters, newsletters and social media updates.
- Assist with organising events, meetings, parents evenings, school based clinics and medical appointments, trips and parent tours.
- Handle basic financial tasks such as recording payments for meals and trips.
- Provide administrative support to SLT and staff, and to the EHCP and consultation processes.
What We’re Looking For
- GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade 4 or above (Grade C or equivalent)
- First aid training (or willingness to complete it soon after employment commences)
- Experience in administrative tasks, customer-facing roles, teamwork or working with young children (Desirable)
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise
- Confident using MS 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other IT systems and office equipment (Desirable)
- Able to take electronic minutes in various meeting styles and touch-type.
- Proactive, organised and able to handle challenges calmly.
- Committed to safeguarding, confidentiality and the school’s values.
