About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 6 teacher to join our KS2 team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated staff team who share a commitment to providing the best possible education for our children. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and highly motivated and has high expectations in all areas of school life and a passion for ensuring the highest possible outcomes for our pupils. They will play a key role in improving end of Key Stage 2 outcomes, ensuring pupils are well-prepared for SATs and transition to high school.
We are looking for someone who will :
- Have high expectations for pupils learning and behaviour
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Year 6.
- Implement targeted interventions to raise attainment in reading, writing, and maths.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan engaging lessons and monitor progress and attainment .
- Use assessment data effectively to inform teaching and accelerate pupil progress.
· Promote positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
· Have a good working knowledge of the National Curriculum
· Be able to work independently and as part of a team
· Uphold the ethos and values of our school
