This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a leader with passion, enthusiasm and high expectations to make a meaningful difference at Parkdale Primary School, alongside the new Headteacher, from September 2026. We are seeking an aspiring or experienced Deputy Headteacher who embodies our Trust values of Kindness, Respect, Equity and Creativity and who is keen to become part of an inspirational school family.

As Deputy Headteacher, you will play a central role in strengthening what already works well at Parkdale and driving improvement where it is needed. You will lead with clarity and reliability, supporting colleagues to develop their expertise and understanding whilst modelling best practice and having high expectations of all. You will work closely with the Headteacher and SLT to champion excellence in teaching and learning, ensuring that both children and adults are supported and challenged to be at their best and achieve their full potential.

We are proud to have an ambitious and highly dedicated staff team who work exceptionally hard for our wonderful children. Our Deputy Headteacher will need to bring passion and determination for every member of our school family to succeed. Communication and collaboration are essential qualities; we have a fantastic community within and beyond the school, including governors and parents, who are all keen to work collectively to ensure the best possible education for our children.

If you lead with kindness and integrity, model respect in every interaction and believe that every child will succeed, we would love to hear from you.

  • Have high ambitions for all children to achieve the highest standards
  • Be committed to children enjoying and engaging in learning whilst being challenged
  • Be an excellent teacher with the ability to support the development of excellence in teaching throughout the school
  • Have experience of leading people, developing their expertise and holding them to account with clarity and fairness
  • Have a commitment to inclusion and equity.
  • Lead with honesty and integrity.
  • Communicate confidently with all members of the school community
  • Engage fully in the life of the school

We offer:

  • Amazing children, families and governors!
  • The opportunity to grow and develop the strength of the leadership team alongside the new Headteacher
  • The opportunity to be innovative in supporting school improvement and to continue to make a real difference to the lives of our pupils.
  • Being part of a fast growing, well respected and highly-effective Multi Academy Trust, that embraces each individual member school’s identity and staff groups.
  • Opportunities to collaborate with schools and practitioners across the Trust sharing best practice and resources
  • A dedicated pastoral team of DSLs, family support worker, attendance officer and SENCO
  • Access to exceptional CPD through our Transform Applied offer
  • Support and challenge through a variety of partnerships, networks and relationships within the Trust

Being part of Transform Trust means that you will have access to the following:

  • Peer to peer networking, collaboration, challenge and support
