The Position

The Sixth Form Coordinator is responsible for delivering high-quality administrative and organisational support to the Head of Sixth Form and Head of Learning (Key Stage 5) at Uxbridge High School. This role ensures the smooth running of all Sixth Form operations, including attendance monitoring, safeguarding administration, progress tracking, examinations, destinations data, and enrichment activities. Acting as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and external partners. The postholder manages communications and provides accurate information in a timely and professional manner.

The position involves coordinating key Sixth Form events such as parents’ evenings, induction programmes, UCAS milestones, and results days, while maintaining compliance with safeguarding, GDPR, and school policies. It also includes producing attendance reports, managing statutory returns, supporting data analysis, liaising with the Exams Officer, and administering the 16–19 Bursary. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in IT systems are essential, alongside the ability to work effectively in a busy environment, maintain confidentiality, and communicate professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
