We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and inspirational Rock & Pop Instrumental Teacher to join our thriving Music Department for one full teaching day per week (approximately 6 hours). The successful candidate will deliver high-quality 1:1 instrumental lessons in acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar and drums, supporting pupils of varying abilities. In addition to individual tuition, there will be opportunities to work with small GCSE performance ensembles, helping students prepare for assessed performances and develop their ensemble skills.
Our Music Department follows the Eduqas GCSE Music specification, and the successful applicant will play an important role in supporting students with the performance component of the course. Experience of preparing pupils for GCSE performance assessments, or a willingness to develop this expertise, would be highly advantageous. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant musical community where students are encouraged to perform regularly and develop their musical potential.
