Salary                 Attractive - WMAT Teachers Pay Scale £34,398 - £52,490 per annum

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, innovative and inspirational teacher with the passion and enthusiasm to fulfil a key role in the school as a Teacher of PE who is willing to go ‘the extra mile’ for the students and school. We have a strong extra-curricular offering to students and would be looking for someone with a keen interest in supporting our many successful extra-curricular clubs, in particular Rugby. We believe this is a fantastic opportunity to drive extra-curricular and achievement further to achieve district, county and national success.

The Curriculum Area has an excellent reputation both within the school and local area and is extremely proud of its students and their achievements.  We believe strongly in developing healthy, active lifestyles in the school community, whilst also striving for excellence. We have exceptional facilities, which need to be seen to be truly appreciated. Including multi sports hall, gymnasium, fitness studio, all weather pitches, athletics, tennis and netball courts, cricket square and future plans and aspirations to continue to improve and expand our facilities further. Many of our students are very talented and go on to achieve success locally, nationally and even at international levels. There are inter-school and inter-form competitions run throughout the year and we are a dedicated curriculum area for fixtures and extra-curricular activities.

We welcome applications from both well qualified teachers and those who are at the beginning of their career. The key is that you are enthusiastic and capable of contributing to a highly effective and supportive PE teaching team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our outstanding curriculum area of dedicated PE teachers.
