YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:

  1. Provide strategic leadership for KS4 pastoral assistants, ensuring effective systems for behaviour and attendance and ensuring a culture of positive well-being.
  2. Act as a non-teaching Head of Year.
  3. Deliver targeted interventions for high-profile students.
  4. Drive improvements in behaviour and attendance in KS4, embedding restorative practices and targeted interventions across the school.
  5. Lead on behaviour, well-being and attendance interventions for KS4 students
  6. Lead on any KS4 pastoral investigations ensuring pastoral assistants collect statements and support with next steps/interventions. Update parents, AAHT’s/SLT and update CPOMS or other systems on outcomes.
  7. Liaise by telephone/email/in person with parents/carers/external agencies.
  8. Supporting all pupils to maintain excellent attendance/uniform/lates to lessons/truancy and all aspects of the behaviour policy.
