Join Us at Meade Hill School

At Meade Hill School, we are proud of the positive and established culture we have created. We are a specialist school supporting young people aged 11-16, and our approach is rooted in strong relationships, emotional wellbeing and a belief in the potential of every pupil.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and committed Support for Learning Lead to join our established team and play a key role in supporting pupil behaviour, emotional regulation, wellbeing and inclusion.

Our vision is to be a centre of excellence built on a relational approach, where pupils feel safe to explore, enjoy learning and achieve positive outcomes and successful futures.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands that behaviour is communication and relationships are central to positive change. You will work closely with pupils, staff, families and external agencies, providing professional guidance and leadership around behaviour and safety.

You will lead on IRIS and QA staff reports, analyse behaviour data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide clear information to the Headteacher to support decision-making. You will also play a key role in embedding Trust approaches including Conflict Resolution, Emotion Coaching and Hacking for Behaviour, while promoting the Trust's vision of Relational Inclusion.

Our Values

Aspiration

We hold the highest aspirations for our pupils, nurturing their academic and social understanding so they can grow and reach their fullest potential. We ignite curiosity and instil a lifelong passion for learning and exploration.

Resilience

We empower our pupils to understand and navigate their emotions, fostering perseverance and a positive mindset. We support them to overcome challenges, embrace setbacks and emerge stronger, wiser and more resilient, with the skills they need to thrive in adult life.

Kindness

Within our nurturing environment, we cultivate empathy and compassion, encouraging our pupils to treat others with respect and understanding. We nurture a diverse community where kindness is the norm, fostering a genuine sense of belonging and mutual support.

Why Meade Hill?

Meade Hill is a school where relationships really matter. We are committed to creating a happy, safe and stimulating environment in which pupils are valued, supported and encouraged to reach their potential.

We are proud of our positive culture and supportive team environment, and we want someone who will contribute to and strengthen this further. You will be joining a team that understands the importance of consistency, compassion and high expectations when supporting young people with complex needs.

The role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference - not simply by responding to behaviour, but by helping pupils to understand themselves, develop emotional regulation, build resilience and experience success.

If you are emotionally resilient, confident in your decision-making, passionate about positive behaviour and inclusion, and able to build strong and trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues, we would love to hear from you.

Come and join Meade Hill School and be part of a team committed to helping every pupil feel safe, valued and able to succeed.
