Make a difference in the first steps of education. 

Richard Bonington Primary School is looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, with a passion for Foundation stage 1.

As an F1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our youngest learners (ages 3-4) as they begin their educational journey. You will help create a safe, stimulating environment where children can explore through play, develop independence, and build confidence. Your responsibilities will include supporting early reading and maths activities, encouraging communication and language development, assisting with personal care routines, and promoting health and wellbeing. You will also help deliver exciting outdoor learning experiences, including Forest School sessions, fostering curiosity and a love of nature.”

 We are looking for a candidate with….

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • Experience working with young children in an early years setting.
  • A warm and caring personality
  • Patience and a genuine passion for early years education
  • Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Positivity, enthusiasm, adaptability, with strong teamwork skills
  • An interest in Forest school/outdoor learning.
