Your Role

Richard Bonington Primary and Nursery School is seeking to appoint a forward-thinking and innovative Deputy Head Teacher who can provide a positive contribution to school improvement.  We are a diverse and friendly two form entry school, with a Nursery. The school serves the town of Arnold, which is 5 miles north of Nottingham.  The school occupies a large attractive site with extensive grounds and facilities. 

The successful applicant will teach part time to model good practice and lead from the front and will be given senior leadership release time on a weekly basis. 

We are looking for an excellent practitioner with drive and enthusiasm, who has the knowledge, experience and skills to lead on teaching and learning and curriculum.  

The deputy head teacher will work closely with the head teacher and be supported in this role by Equals Trust who will provide collaborative working and a highly skilled, supportive and experienced team of senior leaders including other local schools.

 You will:

•      Be highly skilled in teaching and learning and have the confidence to lead and model this across key stages
