Callerton Academy is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Supervision Room Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to play a key role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting students to succeed. Working closely with senior leaders, you will lead the supervision room provision, ensuring a calm, supportive and purposeful environment where students can reflect, learn and improve.
You will:
- Provide consistent pastoral support, helping students develop self-esteem, resilience and positive behaviours.
- Work closely with the leadership team to plan and adapt support for students where intervention is not yet improving behaviour.
- Monitor and track behaviour using school data systems, identifying trends and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to behaviour policies and strategies that promote positive conduct in school and the local community.
- Ensure a safe, secure and supportive environment in line with safeguarding, health and safety and school policies.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting.
- Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively and support positive change.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to use ICT and data systems effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents and external stakeholders.
- A calm, resilient and adaptable approach when working in challenging situations.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality and promoting the welfare of children.
