About the role

We are looking to appoint an ambitious, highly skilled and inspirational Deputy Headteacher and SENDCo who will play a key role in the continued development of Manor Farm Academy. The successful candidate will share our commitment to providing the very best educational experiences for every child and ensuring that all pupils, including those with SEND and additional needs, are supported to thrive academically, socially and personally.

We are specifically looking for candidates who:

  1. have very high expectations of teaching, learning, inclusion and pupil achievement
  2. are excellent, enthusiastic and highly motivated leaders and classroom practitioners
  3. have the ability to lead and develop high-quality SEND provision, ensuring that pupils with additional needs receive effective support
  4. will work closely with the Headteacher to drive school improvement and maintain consistently high standards
  5. can inspire, support and challenge colleagues, contributing positively to the development of our dedicated and professional staff team
  6. demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and removing barriers to learning
  7. can build positive and productive relationships with pupils, parents, staff and external professionals

  9. have the ambition, resilience and professional expertise to make a significant contribution to the strategic leadership of the academy

About our academy

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Manor Farm Academy. We currently have 210 pupils from Reception to Year 6. The entire team work very closely together to deliver a high standard of education, experience and enjoyment for every pupil.
