Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Maths teacher with a passion for inspiring curious, ambitious young people? The King’s School is looking to appoint a committed and dynamic Maths teacher to join our supportive and experienced Maths team. 

We’re seeking someone with a positive, “can‑do” approach and a genuine desire to provide students with the very best learning experience. Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced colleague, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow and thrive in a high‑achieving school where tradition and innovation sit comfortably side by side. 

As part of our Maths department, you’ll join a well‑resourced, friendly and dedicated team known for going the extra mile to support both students and each other. 

This is a 1 FTE, permanent contract with to start 01 September 2026. 

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:   

  • Has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with students, colleagues and parents/carers 
  • Is committed to inspiring a love of Maths and improving life chances through engaging and challenging lessons. 
  • Possesses the skills and subject expertise to support students of all abilities and adapt teaching to meet individual needs. 
  • Can work collaboratively as part of a department team while also demonstrating independence and initiative. 
  • Has the ability to build positive, supportive relationships that foster confidence and achievement in students
