Prestolee Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint reliable, conscientious and flexible Examination Invigilators to join the team at The Derby High School.
The successful candidates will support the smooth and efficient running of examinations, helping to ensure that pupils are able to undertake their examinations in an appropriate environment and that examination procedures and regulations are followed at all times.
Hours will be offered on an ad-hoc basis according to the school’s examination timetable. Invigilators are required to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of an examination and remain until the examination papers have been reconciled.
Our main examination weeks are:
The majority of invigilation work will take place during our main examination periods:
- October – Two-week mock examination period
- February – Two-week mock examination period
- May to July – Main GCSE examination window, starting on or around 19 May each year and lasting approximately seven weeks
Hours will be offered on an ad-hoc basis in line with the school’s examination timetable, with examination periods generally falling around the same time each year.

Hourly rate: £13.28 per hour
