As Myton’s SENDCo, you will lead an extensive management team including two Assistant SENDCos, administrative support and a team of skilled Teaching Assistants. Through your inspiring leadership, you will ensure all staff understand their role in the collective responsibility for students with SEND and have the training and support to deliver on your vision.
Myton School is a large and popular school with around 1800 students and is oversubscribed in all years. We are a values driven school, determined that our students achieve life long success. We distribute leadership effectively through the Senior Leadership Team and as such, senior leaders enjoy a great deal of autonomy so can develop and implement their vision for their part of the school.
We are committed to excellent CPD opportunities which reflect our emphasis on training, support and career development. We see this as a key element in enabling our staff to achieve their goals and ambitions and we invest heavily in our people.
If you feel you share our values, have the vision and drive for excellence and want to be part of an enthusiastic and dedicated team, committed to ensuring that students fulfil their potential, then we would like to hear from you.
We are part of Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust, led by Southam College (an Ofsted Outstanding school). This has enhanced our ability to offer inspirational and supportive leadership and CPD for all of our staff.
If you are not familiar with Myton yet, or want to find out more about the role, please contact our Deputy Head, Mr Neil Phipps, who is keen to hear from you via Phipps.n@myton.co.uk.
All applications are via our online platform and can be found on the Vacancies section of the Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust website www.stowevalleymat.com. Visits to the school are welcomed.
Please note that strong applications may be considered upon receipt.
The school is an Equal Opportunities employer and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. It expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
