Do you have a passion for helping young people overcome barriers and achieve their potential? Are you patient, encouraging, and able to build positive relationships with students who benefit from a little extra support? Do you thrive as part of a caring, committed team where your contribution genuinely makes a difference every day?

A day in your new role could see you:

  1. Supporting individual pupils or small groups with structured learning activities
  2. Building positive, trusting relationships that help students grow in confidence
  3. Monitoring pupils’ personal, social and emotional needs and feeding back to teachers
  4. Contributing to the development and review of individual learning targets
  5. Providing support in English, maths and science, with flexibility to work across other subjects
  6. Helping create and use learning resources, including ICT tools
  7. Supporting behaviour routines to maintain a calm, purposeful classroom
  8. Working collaboratively with parents, carers and external agencies
  9. Assisting with specific care or medical needs (training provided)
  10. Supporting Homework Club and contributing to co‑curricular activities
