Higher Level Teaching Assistant


Cyril Jackson School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant join our vibrant and inclusive community

As the Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will: 

  • Provide higher level support for pupils, teachers and the school in order to raise standards of achievements for all pupils
  • Encourage pupils to become independent learners, ensure their safety and welfare, and support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of school life.
  • Under the direction and supervision of the class teacher, work with whole classes, smaller groups and individuals, carrying out ‘specified work’ as outlined in regulations and guidance under Section 133 of the Education Act 2003.
  • Provide effective support to less experienced colleagues.
